Story

Nier:Automata is not a game that I thought I’d enjoy, or even like for that matter. It was just so different from the types of games I usually played. However when I actually sat down to play it, I liked it a lot more than I thought. The story is the main plus for this game (If you’ve read my other reviews this should come as no surprise.), a story about two androids fighting to take back the earth from the robots that invaded long ago. But not everything is as it seems and they begin to question whether or not they are even fighting for the right side.

My main issue with this game is the character switch halfway through. I wanted to see the dynamic between the two main characters continue on and blossom. I was left a little disappointed, even though the rest of the game was as good as the first half, I just could not get past the fact that part of my interest was left behind in act 2
