Main Game:

Horizon Zero Dawn is a game that came out in 2017 around the Same time of Breath of the Wild. I ended up playing Breath of the Wild first and I mean how could I not, it’s Legend of Zelda? That being said when I finally got back around to playing HZD I’ve gotta say it definitely surprised me. Not necessarily the world, combat, or even the graphics. Those all looked good and played amazingly, but what really stood out to me was the story. The story of Alloy as this outcast as she tries to make her way in this world that she’s not welcome in. One thing that Sony always seems to do best is story, the characters, the cinematography, and the emotion they make you feel along with the characters. It’s why I keep coming back to their games, and it’s why my main console is the PS4.

DLC:

The Frozen Wilds add-on was a cool change of pace. Taking place in a worn down, frozen over Yellowstone was definitely a neat experience. The story was a little lackluster, but it had it’s moments for sure and I appreciated the variety in enemy encounters.
